Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated was founded 100 years ago on November 12, 1922 on the campus of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Through Sisterhood, Scholarship, and Service, our organization works to continuously meet the demands and challenges that impact the community in order to enhance the quality of life.
The Delta Iota Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. has made a significant impact by donating $10,000 to the MUSC Sickle Cell Clinic for the past two years. For a total of $20,000 donated to Sickle Cell Research! These generous contributions are dedicated to funding vital research aimed at improving the lives of individuals affected by sickle cell disease. Delta Iota Sigma's contributions not only support groundbreaking medical advancements but also raise awareness about the challenges faced by those living with this condition, demonstrating a powerful dedication to community health and well-being.
